Madwoman of Chaillot, Act 2

Madwoman of Chaillot (Act II), B. Iden Payne Theatre, 2000
Directed by Gordon Peacock, Lighting by Ruth Hutson

When the curtain rises on Act II, we're wanting to see the magical, mysterious, incongruous world of the Countess. Luxurious fabric draped over pipes, a bicycle seemingly floating in mid-air, a dusty life-sized llama draped in velvet, and a compendium of faded, elegant china teacups atop a table made from a broken crate.
